Freelance Software Development
PCP ACT! is a collaboration between Harvard University; University of California, Irvine; and us. Over many years, Harvard University developed curriculum and tools for treating mass mental health trauma. The curriculum has been used by front line aid workers and primary care providers for people who have experienced events such as natural disasters, terrorism, and genocide. Health policy researchers at University of California, Irvine wanted to evaluate these materials from Harvard, which involved making them digital and using them with a sample of Cambodian patients.
Developing this site involved working closely with psychologists, physicians, and researchers through all stages of the software development lifecycle. We identified requirements, designed the look and feel of the site, digitalized the content provided by the subject matter experts, and provided support for the three years while the project was under way.
